Description

The Freshfield Hall is the largest of our halls for hire and is ideal for events and classes that require space, such as public meetings and lectures, fitness classes and private parties. The large stage area and changing rooms also make the Freshfield Hall a great space for theatrical productions and concerts.

Entrance is via the main hall lobby on the south front. There is also full disabled access via the ramp on the west side.

There are gentlemen’s toilets, the ladies’ toilets have been adapted for additional use as a unisex facility for the disabled. There is an extra toilet in the lobby which can be made available for large functions.

Hire of the Freshfield Hall can also include use of the kitchen and bar area. There are teacups and saucers, cafetieres and a large urn available for your use. Please see our asset list for details of other items for hire, such as extra cutlery and crockery, glasses and tablecloths. The Booking Office can secure an alcohol licence for your event as requested.

Included in the cost of Hire are 180 upholstered chairs and 17 large trestle tables, available for you to lay out as required. Additional plastic chairs and smaller tables are also available. The piano in the hall is available for hirers’ use.

In 2016, a new Fire Alarm System was installed, serving the whole of the Village Hall.
