We loved having our wedding reception at the Forest Row Village Hall! We booked the Freshfield Hall to host the main reception as well as the Peter Griffits Hall, which was used as a space where the children could express their energy during the speeches. The hall manager was very welcoming and helpful, and we have wonderful memories of our special day!

I have been happily hiring the village hall for my ballet school for over 16 years. Both the Peter Griffits and Freshfield hall provide wonderful spaces for my children’s dance classes. The Village Hall is a fantastic venue for parties, displays, art exhibitions and more and it’s location right in the heart of the village is just perfect.

The Peter Griffits Hall is another venue within the Forest Row Village Hall. Image shows the interior of the hall, taken from the entrance towards the serving hatch, which is open. At the other side of the hall can be seen the emergency exit door.

We have been hosting our Aikido classes at the Forest Row Village Hall since 2009. The Peter Griffits Hall continues to be a great venue for us. It is situated in a convenient location for students, and is close to all local village amenities. We have appreciated being able to store our mats there, and especially the friendly and professional manner of the Village Hall management.

Many women over many years have filled this room with their singing voices. My groups are inclusive, I ask women to come regardless of their singing ability. Key to this is the space we are in. Every week the hall is clean, warm, well prepared and ready for us to use. It’s a safe and comfortable space for this deeply connecting and meaningful activity to thrive in. We love it.
