Overview

The “Hire Estimator” is created using Gravity Forms and their built-in conditional logic functionality. The estimator form will need to be updated when there are changes to the hire tariffs.

Step 1:

It would be useful to have the Hire Tariffs list open in another tab so that you can make easy reference to updates that have been made. Then in a new tab, access the Hire Estimator form via the WordPress Admin dashboard, click on “Forms” in the left hand menu, and then select the “Hire Estimator” form.

Step 2:

Clicking on the form heading takes you to the edit screen for the form. Scroll down the form fields until you find prices. You will see, for example, “Freshfield/Resident/Function” heading. Let’s say this tariff has increased, click on the heading “Freshfield/Resident/Function” which will select the form block. You will now see that his opens an edit functionality on the right hand side of the screen or sidebar. Here you will be able to change the tariff amount for this particular tariff configuration (i.e. for a function at the Freshfield Hall for a Forest Row resident).

Step 3:

Once you have updated all the tariffs required, update the form by clicking on the “Save Form” button at the top of the admin screen. Then check that the estimator is functioning as expected on the front-end of the website.
